Stiamo vivendo un periodo straziante per l’umanità, in tutta questa tragedia dove l’uomo si arresta la terra ricomincia a vivere. In pochi mesi i livelli d’inquinamento si sono ridotti, flora e fauna si riappropriano degli spazi urbani. Si può vivere in un mondo dove il benessere tra uomo e terra è inversamente proporzionale?
Il mio progetto è una provocazione, uno stimolo a far riflettere sull’uomo che non dà il giusto valore alla terra o la peggiora e ci lucra sopra. Estremizzare fino al punto in cui l’uomo preferisce vendere la terra in capsule “spacciandola” per un farmaco contro i danni che l’uomo stesso ha creato e che producendolo continua ha creare, confezionarla poi all’interno di un packaging con tutte le indicazioni sull’uso e infine prezzarla con una valore monetario che svalorizza la sua vera entità.La terra diventa un lenitivo, che agisce nelle menti umane creando un effetto placebo, l’idea di assumere una sostanza con potere curativo ha di per sé un potere curativo. Il termine farmaco in greco significa sia “cura” che “veleno” secondo la mia visione può diventare una metafora dell’essere umano che può essere sia creatore che distruttore. We are experiencing a harrowing period for humanity, in all this tragedy where man stops the earth begins to live again. In a few months, pollution levels have reduced, flora and fauna regain urban spaces. Can we live in a world where the well-being between man and earth is inversely proportional?
My project is a provocation, a stimulus to make people think about who does not give the right value to the earth or make it worse and profit from it. Extremize to the point where man prefers to sell the land in capsules “selling it” for a drug against the damage that man himself has created and which he continues to produce has created it, then packs it inside a packaging with all the indications on use and finally price it with a monetary value that devalues its true entity. The earth becomes a soothing, which acts in human minds creating a placebo effect, the idea of taking a substance with healing power has in itself a healing power . The term drug in Greek means both “cure” and “poison” in my view it can become a metaphor for the human being who can be both creator and destroyer. It is up to us to decide how to act.
