Abbiamo deciso di focalizzare il nostro lavoro su uno degli aspetti che, da qualche anno a questa parte è stato protagonista di molti dibattiti in merito alla salute della nostra Terra. L’equilibrio, in natura, è considerato come il giusto rapporto per consentire la vita dei diversi organismi; La mancanza di esso può portare ad uno sconvolgimento del sistema e l’uomo è uno delle prime cause di tutti quei cambiamenti e disastri che hanno avuto luogo nel corso degli anni. Quindi, la nostra ricerca, si basa sul rapporto tra uomo e natura e di come esso, in quanto organismo vivente, debba riuscire a rispettare la terra e a mantenere questo equilibrio. L’idea di installazione prevede quattro proiezioni che rappresenteranno i quattro elementi della natura sui quali ci siamo focalizzate per descrivere lo strano rapporto che l’uomo ha con essa. Lo spettatore, in questo caso, dovrà riuscire, giocando con la posizione del proprio corpo, a capire quali delle sue scelte potrebbero essere dannose o meno per la terra. Quindi, in conclusione, il fruitore dell’opera arriverà a capire quanto sia importante l’attenzione del singolo per arrivare a raggiungere di nuovo il giusto equilibrio.
We decided to focus our project on one of the aspects that, in the last few years, has been considered at the core of much debate regarding the proper health of our planet Earth. Balance, in nature, is considered to be the right measure to provide and grant life to every organism. The lack of balance, can easily lead to a derangement of the system, and mankind is one of the first most important causes of the recent years’ disasters. Our research is, thus, based on the desired rapport between man and nature, and on how is the man’s job to respect Earth and sustain this balance. The idea behind this installation comprehends four different projections, each representing one of the four elements of nature as a way to describe this strange rapport that every person has with it. The spectator will have to find a way, experimenting with his body and position, to better understand which of his or her choices can be dangerous or not for Earth. In conclusion, the message we hope to conceive is to let people know about the importance of every act in order to achieve the desired balance.
