Cosa rimane di un attimo? Il suo momento, il suo esserlo stato.
La bellezza risiede nell’espressione che il precedente ha dato al successivo, in una combinazione
armoniosa di forma e contenuto. Un piccolo impatto sulla realtà che ci circonda, mutevole ed ordinata, basata sul nostro trascorrere all’interno di un tempo. La bellezza è forse questa ricerca continua dell’istante, mantenendo invariata la sua sostanza. Un’evoluzione in continuo divenire su più livelli del vero, che rendono giustizia alla sua resa traducendola nel concreto della sua astrazione. La linea retta rappresenta la dichiarazione di infinito concreto. Un costante ‘dopo’, in un tempo. L’opera proposta “The Line-what remains” pone il tempo come espressione della bellezza, attraverso una performance in cui i soggetti compiono due azioni: tracciare e cancellare con le mani, una linea retta su una tela (1,80x2,20m) con acrilico nero e bianco. Nel video di documentazione, la velocità aumenterà fino alla trasformazione completa dell’aspetto formale, attraverso quella che sembra una perdita d’immagine.

What remains of an instant? Its moment and what it was.
Beauty is the expression that the previous one gave to the next one, in an harmonious combination of form and content. A small impact on the reality that surround us, changeable and ordered, based on our time spent inside. Beauty is perhaps this continuous research of the instant, while keeping its substance unchanged. An evolution always changing on several levels of truth, which give justice to its surrender by translating its abstraction into practice. The straight line represents the declaration of concrete infinity.
An “after” persisting in a time.
The work “The Line-what remains” puts time as an expression of beauty, through a performance in which the subjects take action: draw and erase with a hand, a straight line on a canvas (1,80x2.20m) with black and white acrylic. In the documentary video, the speed will increase until the complete transformation of the formal aspect, through what looks like a loss of image. What remains of a moment, if not his time spent for the next time?
