Il progetto si intitola CHENG che in cinese significa “città”. Secondo l’autore la città rappresenta la divina estetica contemporanea, poiché raffigura e rappresenta lo sviluppo degli esseri umani, ovvero la loro storia, la loro cultura ecc… CHENG, seguendo le regole urbanistiche della costruzione architettonica, è composta da 6000 puntini per spillatrice, collocati su una base triangolare, in quanto il triangolo è una forma artificiale e irremovibile, così come la città stessa. Questa installazione è un connubio tra tradizione e innovazione, passato e presente, sia da un punto di vista delle tecniche utilizzate, sia della rappresentazione scelta dall’artista. Le proiezioni sulla città hanno 6 diverse fasi: 1. Lo Scan per vedere la forma della città con diversi altezze; 2. Il Vortice per sentire il ritmo della città; 3. Il Noise per sentire la fretta della città; 4. La Rotazione semisferica per vedere la relazione tra l’ombra dei palazzi e la luce sulla città; 5. Il Brio poiché la città può essere allo stesso tempo lenta e leggera. 6. Il Frammento per sentire la fragilità della città.

The projection on the city have 6 different phases: 1. "The Scan" to see the shape of the city with different heights; 2. "The Vortex" to feel the rhythm of the city; 3. "The Noise" to hear the rush of the city; 4. "The hemispherical rotation" to see the relationship between the shadow of the buildings and the light on the city; 5. "The Brio" since the city can be slow and light at the same time. 6. "The Fragment" to feel the fragility of the city.
