#13 Nec aut verbis exprimere

Anna Di Rocco

Nec aut verbis exprimere is a paradox, since the aesthetic divine is a sensory experience.

Divine is life; the aesthetic is consciousness.

The short-film intends to translate the inside and the outside of a womb, conjuring through natural and cultural forms.

To me, being able to translate the creation of the world is like retracing places without men and men without places. Dante teaches us that life is a long journey. The short-film comes from the Divina Commedia because it resembles a journey that, from shadows, comes to light. Deforming the objective sense and then rebuild it in a sensorial way. Lost the center and then rebuild it from the inside. And what is not understood, must be searched in the unconscious.
