Siamo tutti dotati di una chiave di lettura della bellezza, ma affinché è possiamo viverla e apprezzarla dobbiamo porre l’attenzione su di essa, farci investire da questa energica linfa vitale. Siamo circondati dalla bellezza, essa si manifesta in ogni forma e viene vissuta attraverso i nostri sensi. SEN5E nasce da questi quesiti. Abbiamo unito l’esperienza sensoriale alla tecnologia in modo creativo, sperimentandone la resa artistica. Il performer vive 5 esperienze sensoriali, le stesse vengono tracciate da sensori che generano contenuti multimediali. Abbiamo utilizzato il viso come catalizzatore di stati d’animo. Il viso è il naturale trasduttore delle emozioni: trasforma l’energia che ci investe in espressioni di gioia, meraviglia, ma anche disgusto o fastidio Può un algoritmo di face recognition, analizzare l’esperienza della stimolazione del senso e creare a sua volta altri contenuti multimediali? La somma di questi contenuti andranno a formare un quadro unico, in cui il performer e successivamente l’utente possono fare una riflessione sull’esperienza stessa.

We are all endowed with the ability to read beauty, but to be able to live it and appreciate it, we must focus on it, and let ourselves be invested by its energetic lifeblood. We are surrounded by beauty, which manifests itself in every form and is lived through our senses. SEN5E comes from such senses. We combined sensory experiences and technology in a creative way, experimenting with the artistic performance of such union. The performer lives five sensory experiences, which are tracked by sensors generating multimedia content. We used the face as catalyst for different moods. The face is the natural transducer for emotions: it transforms our energy in expressions of joy and wonder, as well as disgust and annoyance. Can a face recognition algorithm analyse the experience of sense stimulation and, in turn, create other multimedia content? All this content will create a single framework in which the performer and, eventually, the user, will be able to reflect on the experience they just lived.
