Il suono è un veicolo che permette la perfetta convivenza tra opposti. Suoni completamente diversi insieme creano armonie perfette, musiche. In questo progetto voglio dimostrare come voci diverse, con timbri diversi, con parole diverse, insieme creino armonie perfette. La lingua rappresenta il muro e la porta che separa ogni civiltà. È per questo motivo, che le voci non parleranno una lingua sola, ma tante, perchè anche con lingue diverse, il risultato non cambierà ed il messaggio mandato sarà lo stesso. Una poesia di Mahmoud Darwish, recitata da mille voci, che ci ricorda dall’alto della nostra agiatezza, di pensare agli altri. Lo scopo del progetto è quello di indirizzare attraverso una “lingua amica” l’ascoltatore, che ad occhi chiusi, lo condurrà attraverso un percorso di sussurri, al messaggio finale: pensa agli altri. Il suono viene supportato da un elemento visivo, che in base all’intensità delle voci riempie lo spazio bianco del silenzio creando una trasposizione finale del messaggio, che verrà visionata dall’ascoltatore alla fine del messaggio, quando riaprirà gli occhi.
The sound allows the perfect coexistence of opposites. Different sounds together can make perfect harmonies, melodies. With this project I want to demostrate how different voices, with different timbres and words together can make euphonies. The language represent the wall and the door between any culture. That’s why the voices won’t speak one single language, but many, because also with many languages the result will be the same, the message will be the same. A poetry of Mahmoud Darwish, recited by thousand of voices, that reminds us to think of others. The main purpose of the project is to direct the spectator, using a familiar language, with the eyes closed, throughout wishpers, to the final message: THINK OF OTHERS. The sound is supported by a visual element, that fill the white space of the silence followings the intensity of the voices. This visual will be seen only at the end, when the specator will open his eyes.
