L’ispirazione viene da “Orange is the New Black”, serie tv che racconta di come i criminali siano comunque esseri umani. Le mie celle hanno fra di loro un legame intricato, una ragnatela che connette tutti non lasciando libero nessuno, e gli spettatori possono muoversi attraverso l’opera ed esserne coinvolti. I locked 80 PRISONE(YE)RS in 20 cages and labeled their eyes based on their gender, men in blood red, women in orange as the American prisoner uniform. The inspiration comes from "Orange is the new Black", a show where we understand how prisoners are still human beings. My prison cells have an intricated tie, a spiderweb connecting everyone without sparing anybody and spectators can move and feel involved. The world that I would like to live in? A world where everyone is free to be himself!
